Jacqui is a happy, positive person who believes it is a privilege to combine her clinical experience and knowledge with her client’s personal knowledge and experience, to work together to create positive meaningful change.
Jacqui uses a variety of evidence based psychological approaches including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, Solution Focused and Positive Psychology approaches. Jacqui is also available to provide clinical supervision services.
Jacqui is trained and experienced in working with a wide range of mild to severe psychological issues including depression and anxiety and stress; grief and loss; sexual abuse, trauma and complex trauma; personality disorders; drug, alcohol and other addition issues; and criminal offending issues.
Jacqui also enjoys coaching others to identify and implement their specific values, dreams and goals in order to create vibrant, positive meaningful personal and professional lives.
Although born in England, Jacqui has lived in the Taupo – Turangi region for most of her life. She enjoys lifestyle balance between her professional and personal life by spending time with her partner, family and friends; being active in the great outdoors; and travelling the world.
